MARKS and Spencer is giving its old clothing a new lease of life with the launch of a secondhand resale service.

The move allows customers to trade in M&S garments, footwear and accessories they no longer wear.

Items are spruced up by secondhand retailer Reskinned and listed for sale on M&S's new official eBay store.

Monique Leewenburgh, director of sourcing and technology in fashion, home and beauty at M&S, said: "We're delighted to be partnering with the pre-loved experts at eBay and Reskinned to launch a resale platform.
