Neighbour's 'hideous' new fence stands 3m high... and has spikes
A COUPLE have likened their garden to German wartime castle jail Colditz, after their neighbour put up a three-metre spiked fence for "privacy". Alison and lan Lawrence say the "hideous" structure has "ruined" the garden on which they recently spent £20,000 landscaping.
And they branded a decision by planners to let property boss Deborah Olthof keep the fence "soul destroying".
Businesswoman Alison, 58, and lan, 71, have now vowed to escalate the matter "as far as they can".
