FROM “ladybug” sandwiches to “elevated” vegetable platters, Meghan has whipped up a culinary storm since her sickly sweet new lifestyle show landed on Netflix.

There's not much to love about Meghan's new show, actually

With Love, Meghan showcases the Duchess of Sussex in a rented California mansion hosting for her celebrity friends — none of whom could be described, quite frankly, as A-List.

In fact, from her favourite recipes to her crafts and home remedies, the eight-part show consists of some of the most bizarre and mundane lifestyle tips on the planet.

How do I know? Because I decided to chase Meghan’s Californian dream for myself. And let me tell you, the results were more disappointing than one of her children’s gift bags rammed with seeds and mini tools.

Here’s how it went...

RAINBOW-THEMED FRUIT PLATTER

IN the now infamous second episode, Mindy Kaling arrives to bring some humour. Instead she serves up awkwardness when she mistakenly used her friend’s surname “Markle” “You know I’m Sussex now,” corrects Meghan, hiding a grimace.

The US comedian and actor, the only celebrity I actually recognise, is on hand so Meghan can show her friend how to host a children’s tea party. And the high point of this - for Meghan anyhow - is her “vibrant-themed fruit platter”.

Now, I'll admit my culinary skills are on the amateur side but, in the words of Meghan, “We're not in the pursuit of perfection, we're in the pursuit of joy.” So, impressed by her chopping and shaping of fresh foods into a rainbow arc, which is a world away from the usual tea party token fruit salad, I begin slicing and dicing in the hope it might encourage me to eat more fruit; now that would be a joyful outcome!

My urge for nightly toilet dashes are now out of control

I'm a 78-year-old woman and lately have been getting up three or four times in the night to use the toilet. It is not too much of a problem but I've noticed that by the time I get there, I have leaked, even though I get up as soon as I need to go. Last night, as I made my way to the bathroom, I wet myself so much it just gushed out of me, which is rather disturbing. I don't have the same in the day although I do feel the need to go, but don't do much. What do you suggest?
