STEVE Wright's devastated brother believes the Radio 2 star's death was due to poor diet and health problems that he concealed from his family.
Laurence Wright, 65, hit back at claims the BBC's decision in 2022 to axe him from his long-running afternoon show led to his death and said Steve was "thankful" for the rest.

He added: "He was aware that he could have looked after himself better.
Obviously we all wish he had.
"It's like anyone who doesn't look after themselves over an extended period. The normal stuff - diet, nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress...
