All Cluedo’d up...the amateur detectives get on the case
DAME Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan have shared their heartfelt support for the campaign to legalise assisted dying, while promoting their latest film.
The actress, 80, said: “I absolutely believe in assisted dying.”
While Pierce, 72, agreed and revealed that he had “watched the suffering of dear ones”.
The four-time James Bond star added: “I think when my time comes, I’d like to be able to have the choice to say, ‘OK, let’s have that cup of tea and say goodbye’.”
Dame Helen added: “Yes, in a warm and loving way. I do absolutely believe in that.”
