Starmer plays Trump card to deal in the EU
April 06, 2026

NAKE oil Starmer strikes again.
-
Don’t be fooled by the Prime Minister’s latest wheeze to propel us back into the bosom of Brussels.Sir Keir, who as Shadow Brexit Secretary effectively campaigned to reverse our EU exit by pushing for a second referendum, will stop at nothing to upend the biggest public vote in our history.
this time, the PM is using the excuse of Donald Trump and the war in Iran to call for a more “ambitious” deal with Brussels to “strengthen trade and defence” — code words for Britain to once again follow bloc rules and give up sovereignty.
This is the reversal of Brexit by the back door. Be very clear, Starmer’s planned EU summit will be an EU surrender. This latest move is also part of Starmer’s efforts to blame everyone except himself for the total failure of his administration.
