Sean's moment of magic inspires Leeds into last eight for first time in 23 years

LEEDS UNITED cruised into the FA Cup quarterfinals for the first time since 2003 thanks to a piece of brilliance from Sean Longstaff.

Longstaff is not known for his moments of magic, but he produced one at Elland Road to open the scoring, with a goal any world-class striker would have been proud of.

He took a ball from Gabriel Gudmundsson, flicked it up with one foot, before swivelling and rifling it home with his other.

And when Gudmundsson doubled Leeds’ advantage before halftime with his first goal for the club, Norwich knew they had made the long trip to Yorkshire for nothing.

The Canaries had arrived at Elland Road on the back of some good form, which had seen them lose just two of their last 11 games in all competitions.

But still finding themselves 17th in the Championship, this was the last chance for City to keep their campaign alive.
