Elliott's stayer wins a thriller

TEAHUPOO pipped Ballyburn to the post in a thrilling conclusion to the BAR 1 Betting Hatton's Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse.

After claiming the crown in 2022 and 2023, Gordon Elliott’s tenacious stayer was sent off the 5-4 favourite for a memorable hat-trick under Jack Kennedy.

And the pair met market expectations — just — by holding the late charge of their main rival from the Willie Mullins camp by a nose.
