Fear fires up George heading into toughest Italian job yet

JAMIE GEORGE admits the thought of another England flop scares him to death but insists the Red Roses can get out of their rut and settle a few debts.

Steve Borthwick’s men face probably the best Italian side there has ever been in Rome tomorrow, knowing another defeat is unthinkable.

Borthwick’s side carried all before them with 12 straight wins before going off the rails with two collapses, 31-20 to Scotland and 42-21 to Ireland.

With France to come in the final round, and their tournament already in tatters, a first loss to the Azzurri would leave England looking at one win in five - their worst Six Nations return.

But hooker George is relishing the scrap and is confident England can come out stronger.
