Rivals rally to help strongest man fight devastating injury

ENGLAND'S strongest man fears a serious injury will keep him out of competitions for a year and could even wreck his career.
But his rivals have started a fundraising drive to get Kane Francis back to fitness after severing a tendon in his leg in training.
Currently England's Strongest Man, and known to fans as "The Hurricane", Kane, 32, said he heard a "pop" while pressing a 172kg weight on December 30 and went straight to hospital.
He was told he would need surgery within three weeks to have any chance of a full recovery.
