AN angry judge gave a barrister a dressing down — for turning up to a court hearing wearing no trousers.

The red-faced advocate was appearing for a case by videolink.

As the court session began, all that could be seen was a messy bedroom while loud background music played.

An impatient Recorder Julian Taylor asked “Where is he?” before the clerk repeatedly asked the barrister: “Can you see and hear the court?”

Then suddenly the lawyer came into view from the left of the screen.
