Putin's mouthpiece calls for Boris assassination

VLADIMIR Putin's state TV broadcaster has slammed the Russian army for failing to strike Odesa during a visit by Boris Johnson.

The former prime minister was spotted in the Ukrainian city at the weekend ahead of a visit to Kyiv, in a move that is said to have infuriated Russia's leadership.

President Putin's leading TV propagandist Vladimir Solovyov said on channel Rossiya 1: "Excuse me, please, but why didn't we strike Odesa when [Boris] Johnson [was] hanging out there? I really can't understand it..."
