Probe into cruise gran left to die on peak

POLICE are investigating how Australian grandmother Suzanne Rees was left to die on a Great Barrier Reef island when her cruise ship left without her.
Ms Rees, 80, was on the first stop of a 60-day, £60,000 trip when she got separated from the group on a peak walk.
Investigators are looking at how she was left behind by the Coral Expeditions cruise ship.
