Premier League striker's parents in kidnap horror

STRIKER Diogo Jota held up fellow Liverpool FC star Luis Diaz's shirt as he scored yesterday after his team-mate's parents were kidnapped by gunmen.
Jota netted the first of Liverpool's three goals against Nottingham Forest at Anfield, before dashing to the bench to hold up Diaz's number seven shirt.
The Colombia forward, 26, missed the game after his mum and dad were snatched at a petrol station by men on motorbikes in the South American nation. Mum Cilenis Marulanda was rescued but father Luis Manuel was still a hostage, despite reports to the contrary.
Police are concerned the kidnappers have fled to neighbouring Venezuela.
