Poison GP admits 2nd plot to kill same man

A GP who tried to kill his mum’s partner with a fake Covid jab has admitted making an earlier bid using poisoned wine.

Thomas Kwan, 54, who is already serving a minimum of 31 years for attempting to murder Patrick O’Hara, 73, yesterday confessed to inviting him to join a fake wine club and lacing the booze with thallium.

Kwan, who worked in Sunderland before being struck off for the jab crime, also admitted administering a noxious substance to Mr O’Hara’s friend, who drank some of the wine.
