City boss vents his fury in private Etihad inner sanctum... unlike stroppy Haaland!
PEP GUARDIOLA said he prefers to keep his frustration "in the basement" after Erling Haaland blasted Manchester City for their performance against Monaco.
The No.9 repeated that he was "p***** off" in one interview and slammed the team for "not being good enough" in another as they conceded a late goal to draw 2-2 in their second Champions League game of the campaign.
Haaland had scored his 10th and 11th goals of the season to twice give City a lead but they could not hold on.
The big striker's remarks stood out for their bluntness, but also because they contrasted starkly with what manager Guardiola and captain Bernardo Silva had said.
Those two were generally positive about the performance, with Silva suggesting that they felt on the pitch that a number of decisions had gone against them.

Help our hospitals recover by boosting health care at home
A RECENT analysis of NHS data shows that patients staying in hospital longer than medically necessary are costing the health service more than £200million a month. These are people who are fit to be discharged but can’t leave because the right care simply isn’t available in the community. The result? Beds taken by people who don’t need to be there, while patients wait in corridors or ambulances for treatment.
