'People need to start shouting about cladding ...firms ignored duty of care'

PEOPLE “need to start shouting” about the companies whose cladding contributed to the horrific Grenfell Tower blaze which claimed 72 lives, says survivor Marcio Gomes.

The public must hold them to account “because these companies have a duty of care but they've ignored it completely”.

Marcio was speaking just before a new film setting out the failings which led to the blaze is released, along with events to mark its eighth anniversary last Saturday. He added: “I’m hoping that this documentary is a turning point that will then bring prosecutions and justice to families.”
