Only half get to see GP within fortnight

ONE in 20 people who phone their GP for help in England are told to call back another day.

And more than one in 10 were warned they'd need to wait for more than two weeks for care.

The NHS England and the Office for National Statistics found that in North East London, 12.2% of were told to call back another day - the highest share of any region.
