Now BBC drops Wynne Evans from radio show

WYNNE Evans says he is “gutted” he has been axed from his BBC radio show after apologising for using “inappropri-ate language” on the Strictly Come Dancing tour.

The Welsh opera singer and Go Compare ads star said the broadcaster “has decided not to renew my con-tract” — ending his eight-year career on BBC Radio Wales.

He had been suspended from his daytime programme since December, when he was caught on camera making an offensive comment during the Strictly live tour launch.

In a social media message yesterday to his former listeners, Wynne, 53, said: “My beloved Wynners, from the very depths of my heart - thank you.
