IS story is one of the most improbable in rock and roll history a mild-mannered superfan who came out of the shadows to become the lead singer of his favourite band. Tommy DeCarlo was 43 and working as a credit manager at a Home Depot in North Carolina when he got the email that was to change his life.
As a longtime fan of the rock band Boston, best known for their mega hit "More Than a Feeling", and songs like "Rock And Roll Band", "Peace Of Mind" and the ballad "Amanda", he ended up replacing original lead singer Brad Delp, after his suicide in 2007.
