Monty: Britons losing plot over gardens abroad

MONTY Don has warned British gardeners against being "arrogant" when travelling abroad.
The TV expert said that although we value our outdoor space more than "any other nation", it means we "assume that our approach is the only one".
He warned travellers to be careful about judging other gardens around the world against British ideas.
The Gardeners' World presenter, 68, said: "When you travel and see what gardens mean, the thing you have to be very careful about is not to apply your system of value judgments, morality and culture on to one that doesn't share those morals or culture, or even history.
