Mone accuses Sunak over Covid jab profits

TORY peer Michelle Mone has suggested Rishi Sunak might have pocketed jab cash after he failed to support her over accusations she cashed in over the PPE scandal.

She accused the Prime Minister of possibly standing to profit from the Moderna Covid vaccine.

But she was accused of having "quite the brass neck" in her weekend bid to garner sympathy.

And Conservative peer Baroness Altmann demanded Baroness Mone apologise to Mr Sunak, saying: "I'm gobsmacked. She has admitted not telling the truth. Why would she criticise the PM?"

The National Crime Agency is probing PPE Medpro, the Lady Mone's husband Barrowman was involved with, after Covid deals soured.
