Oscar winner set to reunite with pal Vin
SIR Michael Caine has been lured out of retirement to reprise his role as the priestly mentor in The Last Witch Hunter.
The Oscar winner, 92, was widely thought to have bowed out of acting after starring in The Great Escaper in 2023, in which he played a war veteran.
But in a surprise turn of events, he is heading back to the big screen.
He is set to team up again with US actor and pal Vin Diesel in a sequel to 2015’s The Last Witch Hunter, with Sir Michael back as mentor Dolan.
