MAKING Strepsils is a serious business.

Paddy McGuinness discovers this the moment he arrives at Reckitts in Nottingham.For starters, he has to bung on loads of protective gear: a big red one-piece polythene suit, latex gloves, surgical space loafers (not their real name) and two types of hairnet - one for his head, the other for his chin.

Paddy doesn’t seem to have an abundance of hair on either, but I guess he has more than Gregg Wallace, and factories never relaxed their hygiene rules for Gregg. (“Yeah, come on in, slaphead, you're fine as you are,” no one ever used to say to Mr Wallace.)
