Lulamba gamble 'stupid'

NICKY HENDERSON dismissed as "ridiculous" a gamble that forced French import Lulamba from 33-1 down to 4-1 joint-favourite for the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham in March.
The four-year-old, who made a winning debut at Auteuil in October, was 33-1 for the Grade One juvenile test on William Hill's ante-post market in New Year's Eve.
A weight of money has seen the gelding, recruited to run in the colours of Joe and Marie Donnelly, down to 4-1.
