BRICK by brick the wall of this pitiful government continues to crumble.

Yesterday Sir Keir Starmer’s chief of staff Morgan McSweeney quit.

Some might ask why this matters.

First, the pair were inseparable, but, more importantly, the Prime Minister has lost his political human shield.

McSweeney has paid the price for the litany of failings that allowed deceitful Peter Mandelson to worm his way to Washington as the UK’s Ambassador to the US.
