Kemi: Brexit's made Britain a powerhouse

BRITAIN is now an international trading powerhouse thanks to Brexit, Kemi Badenoch claims.

The Business Secretary said our economy is "nimbler" with no mindless EU red tape to worry about, meaning UK companies can be more ruthless on the global stage.

Mrs Badenoch used a speech at the Institute of Economic Affairs in London to set out how our bloc exit has boosted British business as she kicked off International Trade week.

And she said a first paperless shipment between us and Singapore illustrates how we are "an international trading powerhouse".
