Jingle tills! Store cuts prices after tech glitch

MORRISONS has cut the price of festive items for all shoppers after a system glitch hit its loyalty scheme yesterday – but some customers may not get their goodies in time for Christmas.
The chain is offering 10% off an entire shop on Christmas Eve for its card holders and discounts for everyone.
The store acted after customers complained discounts were not being applied at the till yesterday morning.
It said: “Today we are experiencing some system issues which are affecting our More Card customers.
Apology
“For More Card customers who have Morrisons Fivers to redeem, these will be done manually in store by colleagues.
