Why Emily says intimacy coordinators are vital

ACTRESS Emily Atack has defended the use of intimacy coordinators on set as she claimed she had been sexually assaulted in the workplace "throughout" her career.

The Rivals and Inbetweeners star, who made a documentary in 2023 about the sexual harassment she received on social media, hopes another is in the pipeline.

She said: "I want to do one on intimacy coordinators and I'm going to start having conversations about it soon.

"I've seen people roll their eyes about them and say 'I don't need one'. There's a defensiveness about it because they feel like they're being accused of something they haven't even done yet.
