£105m winner shares his good fortune
A BIGHEARTED builder who won a massive £105million on the EuroMillions has used part of his windfall to buy a permanent base for disabled young people.
Steve Thomson scooped the huge amount the UK's seventh biggest ever EuroMillions win in 2019. After coming to terms with his luck and making sure his family was secure the dad-of-three turned his attention to helping others.
Steve first bought a minibus for Together Our Community, a charity that supports young adults with disabilities to live, learn and work and now he has gifted them their own three-storey building.
He has also given £50,000 to fund new equipment at his local medical centre and handed £50,000 to his sons' school.
