PRINCE Harry takes aim at the media for "harassing" his late mother in his bombshell Netflix documentary and accuses reporters of spreading "hate" about his wife Meghan.
The Duke of Sussex then admits he was terrified as he did not want "history to repeat itself".
Throughout the first episode of the series, Harry speaks candidly about the "harassment" he said his loved ones had received at the hands of the media.
He particularly singled out the paparazzi as having been an unwelcome part of his life, from spoiling childhood skiing holidays, to intruding during his school days at Eton and then getting involved with his adult life and romance with Meghan.
Harry says he became worried about the safety of his wife and young son Archie.
In the documentary, he said: "My job is to keep my family safe. I'm genuinely concerned about the safety of my family."
Quit
The series shows the couple pondering the effects of their decision to quit the Royal Family and the UK, claiming hatred was directed towards them.
Harry said: "I think it's my duty to uncover this exploitation and bribery that takes place in our media." added: "They are Meghan destroying us."
