'Halt epidemic of vaping by young'

DOCTORS are demanding bold action to stop "a growing epidemic of vape use" among children and young people.

The British Medical Association says almost six times as many 11 to 17-year-olds are vaping than 10 years ago.

A report by the union describes vaping, especially among young people, as a "serious public health threat".

Professor David Strain, chair of the BMA's board of science, said: "There is no denying we are living in a vaping epidemic.
