THE Duchess of York called paedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein a "supreme friend" - weeks after she had publicly disowned him.

The email message was reportedly sent by Sarah Ferguson in 2011 after she had called her involvement with him a “gigantic error of judgment”.

The Duchess, 65, was married to the Duke of York for a decade from 1986 and is a children’s author and philanthropist. Ahead of her email, she pledged she would never have anything more to do with Epstein, saying: “I abhor paedophilia.”
