Father Ted writer faces 'harassment' trial

THE co-creator of TV series Father Ted has pleaded not guilty to harassing a transgender woman and damaging her phone.
Graham Linehan denied harassing trans rights activist Sophia Brooks on social media and causing £369 of damage to her phone in October.
The Bafta-winning writer, who created FatherTed in the 1990s with fellow Irish writer Arthur Mathews, appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court yesterday.
