Littler thanks parents for having vision to correct his sight as a child

LUKE LITTLER has revealed he had corrective surgery on the deadliest mince pies in darts - and we are not talking the shortcrust version you have been scoffing over Christmas.

As an infant Luke the Nuke was treated for strabismus, a condition where the eyes do not align perfectly and their focus points in different directions.

But there was nothing wrong with his 20-20 vision - better known as double top on the oche - when he became the youngest world champion at 17 years old.

And when Littler faces slowcoach Mensur Suljovic (above) in the PDC World Championship at Alexandra Palace tonight, his eyes will be firmly on the prize — back-toback titles and the jackpot £1million of loot.
