Explorer sets sail to reach most remote spot on Earth

A BRITON is sailing into history as the first person to lead an expedition to Point Nemo - the most remote oceanic spot on the planet.
Entrepreneur Chris Brown, 62, has told the Daily Express he will mark the occasion by taking a dip.
He has already visited five of Earth's seven poles of inaccessibility the spots on continents that are furthest from the sea.
The dad of two has only Europe and Asia to do.
But on Tuesday he and son Mika, 30, left Chile heading for the spot in the Pacific known as Point Nemo. They aim to reach it in 10 days.
