Electric ambulances 'could attend 5,000 fewer callouts a day than hydrogen ones'

ELECTRIC ambulances would respond to 5,000 fewer call-outs a day compared to hydrogen-powered vehicles, an expert has claimed.
A number of NHS Trusts are trialling electric vehicles as the drive toward net zero becomes fiercer.
On New Year's Eve London's first EV Ambulance Service put its ambulance into service.
But Robbie Harbison, product manager at hydrogen compression technology experts Haskel, argues that EVS take up to 5.5 hours to recharge fully.
