Rare operation for 15-year-old Ellie after brain bleed
A TEENAGE girl who underwent an operation that saw medics store part of her skull in her stomach has learned how to walk, talk and swallow again.
Ellie Morris-Davies was admitted to hospital last May with a brain bleed caused by a cavernoma a cluster of abnormal blood vessels that resembles a raspberry.
The 15-year-old needed nine surgeries in 13 weeks and feared she would never leave Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool.

But nearly a year later her mum Joanne, 48, says Ellie is working "relentlessly" to reach her goal of dancing and performing on stage again.
