Crowborough says 'enough is enough' on asylum seekers

THE people of Crowborough marched for the seventh Sunday in a row over government plans to house asylum seekers at a military site.
Hundreds of men, women and children took to the streets with banners, England flags and Union Jacks yesterday as they continued their fight to prevent 540 male migrants being housed at the former training camp on the outskirts of the East Sussex town.
Posting pictures and video on the social media site X, one woman said: “Well done Crowborough another peaceful march.”
Campaigning
Another wrote: “Thank you to the people of Crowborough for saying no to illegal migrants in their community and the country...Enough is enough.”
The rural market town has population of around 22,000.
