Court battle over neighbour's floor

A BUSINESSMAN who tried to force his upstairs neighbours in a luxury apartment block to rip up their creaking floorboards has lost his High Court bid.

Sergey Grazhdankin and wife Maria sued City banker Medhi Guissi and his wife Meriem El Harouchi who had new wooden flooring installed after moving in and removing existing carpet.

The Grazhdankins claimed life in their £1million-plus flat in the West Kensington area of West London was made "torture" by the everyday noises of the young family upstairs.
