It is expected to show a pre-tax profit of about £114million, down from £119million the previous year, according to an analyst consensus compiled for the company.
Total sales are set to dip to about £9billion from £9.5billion last year.
Currys had previously flagged that the cost-of-living crisis had slowed demand for big-ticket items as householders delayed dearer purchases.
