'Common sense Kamala takes on 'unserious Trump

KAMALA Harris introduced herself to the US as the Democratic Party's presidential nominee by setting out her vision for the nation before launching a blistering attack on her Republican rival Donald Trump.
She declared: "I promise to be a president for all Americans, who unites us. A president who leads and listens, who is realistic, practical and has common sense.
"From the courthouse to the White House, that has been my life's work."
Ms Harris, 59, then slated the former President, telling the Democratic National Convention: "In many ways Donald Trump is an unserious man.
"But the consequences of putting Trump back in the White House are extremely serious.
Immune
"Consider the power he will have, especially after the Supreme Court ruled that he would be immune from criminal prosecution. "
