FOR years, he was the royal action man who always sought adventure and daredevil thrills.
From driving tanks and piloting planes to taking on challenging sports like windsurfing and water skiing, Charles was regularly pictured engaging in such wild pursuits in the 1970s.
But as he turns 75 tomorrow, the King has a lot more to look back on than just a life of adventure.
