The man’s a 24-carat dud. And replacing Starmer with him would just be replacing one weak, indecisive, cack-handed incompetent for another. Only the faces would be different. Actually, not true because both look like expressionless, dead-behind-the-eyes clones.

And the fact is, under Burnham, Labowr’s policies would be worse — more punitive and divisive, and they’d wreck the country quicker than Starmer’s.

Still, the prospect of Andy Pandy as PM has obviously put the wind up Starmer, who’s come out screaming he'd be “worse than Liz Truss” and he’d “inflict harm on working people”. Which is a bit rich from the bloke who’s inflicted more harm on working people (AND pensioners) than any PM in living memory.

But back to Burnham.
