Cabinet could be full of cheats like Louise
December 02, 2024
|Daily Express
LOUISE HAIGH'S resignation as Transport Secretary is a total embarrassment for Keir Starmer.
It's also a damning reflection of the type of dangerous dimwits who permeated our politics. Not to be too blunt, but Haigh is a convicted criminal. She pleaded guilty to fraud in 2014 after telling police her work mobile had been stolen in a mugging, This happened six months before she became an MP and Starmer apparently knew about the offence before appointing Haigh to his shadow cabinet.
