Brothers lose £2.65m fight for family's farm

Estate left to mum and aunt
TWO brothers cut out of their grandmother's will after they claimed she promised them the family's £2.65million farm have lost their court battle.
John Maile, 37, and brother Steven, 40, claimed they were told by their 93-year-old grandma Mary Stevens over Sunday lunch: “One day this will all be yours”.
Instead she left the 170-acre estate to the women in the family the brothers’ mum Ruth Maile 73, and their aunt Sheila Kempthorne, 69.
