Bosses face jail for safety failures after 11 broken backs at trampoline park

TWO former bosses of a trampoline centre could face jail after 11 funseekers suffered spine fractures.
In one day alone three people broke bones in their backs leaping from a 13ft Tower Jump into a foam-filled pit at Flip Out Chester.
David Shuttleworth and Matthew Melling admitted a health and safety offence at the city's crown court and will be sentenced later.
The two, both 33, whose company was dissolved last year with the centre now operated by a different franchisee, admitted failing to prevent visitors being exposed to risk.
They could face up to two years behind bars plus hefty fines.
Investigation
It follows an investigation into 270 accidents at the hub over seven weeks from December 2016.
