Behaviour of unruly pupils 'is spiralling out of control'

YOUNG people's behaviour is rapidly worsening and causing "deep public concern", experts have warned.

Almost two-thirds of Britons believe children's conduct has got worse over the past decade, and nearly half say schools are not doing enough to tackle the issue.

Unruly behaviour in classrooms is spiralling out of control, it was said.

A poll conducted by research group More in Common exposed significant public concern over the role of parents and schools in addressing the problem.

The study was commissioned by Steplab, a professional development platform designed to support teachers.
