Angela 'didn't need a chaperone with gentleman Kai'

ANGELA Rippon has insisted she did not need a chaperone while partnered with Kai Widdrington on Strictly Come Dancing.
The Rip Off Britain host, 79, surprised everyone in the last series by making it to the week-nine Blackpool special with Kai.
However, that run was marred by scandal, with Giovanni Pernice and Graziano di Prima both leaving after being accused of inappropriate behaviour in rehearsals.
Asked about the shadows over Strictly and her experience on the show, Angela insisted she never felt like she needed a chaperone while with Kai.
