PM picks up the pieces of Trump trade deal
SIR Keir Starmer has insisted Britain’s steel industry will still benefit from a new trade deal with America - even though it still appears to face 25% trade tariffs.
The Prime Minister also said British Steel would not be forced to ditch its Chinese owners, despite concerns raised by US president Donald Trump.
Following weeks of uncertainty, Mr Trump approved an executive order for the trade deal to be implemented.
